- 12 pre-made phyllo cups
- 4 oz creamy goat cheese softened
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce homemade or store-bought
- 1 tbsp honey optional, for added sweetness
- 2 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts optional, for garnish
- Fresh rosemary sprigs optional, for garnish
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Filling: In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese and honey until smooth.
Assemble the Cups: Place the phyllo cups on a baking sheet. Fill each cup halfway with the goat cheese mixture, using a spoon or piping bag. Add a small dollop of cranberry sauce on top.
Bake: Bake the cups for 6–8 minutes, or until the goat cheese is warm and the phyllo is golden brown.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with chopped nuts and a rosemary sprig if desired. Serve warm.
- If you prefer a savory twist, skip the honey and add a pinch of black pepper or crumbled bacon.
- Pre-baking the empty phyllo cups for 3 minutes ensures extra crispness.
