Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 500 g chicken tenders
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter for searing

For the Glaze

  • 3 tbsp honey
  • ½ cup apple juice
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken tenders dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps them sear evenly.
  • Season both sides of the tenders with salt and black pepper for a base of flavor.

Step 2: Sear the Chicken

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Allow it to melt and turn slightly golden for a nutty aroma.
  • Add the chicken tenders to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they develop a golden-brown crust.
  • Remove the tenders from the pan and set them aside on a plate.

Step 3: Make the Glaze

  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic. auté for around 30 seconds, or until it starts to smell amazing.
  • Pour in the apple juice, honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir well with a whisk to combine all the ingredients into a smooth glaze.
  • Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon and stir again to evenly distribute the flavor.

Step 4: Simmer and Thicken the Glaze

  • Let the glaze simmer gently for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reduces slightly and starts to thicken.
  • If you prefer a thicker glaze, simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes while stirring consistently.

Step 5: Glaze the Chicken

  • Return the chicken tenders to the skillet, ensuring they are evenly coated with the glaze.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the tenders to infuse every bite with flavor.

Step 6: Final Touches

  • Turn off the heat and let the chicken rest in the pan for a minute to absorb the glaze fully.
  • If desired, garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary for a pop of color and aroma.
